My latest experiment has been to maximize the sound of my Washburn EA-20 acoustic guitar. I have an Epiphone flatbody electric with no whammy bar, cuz they get in my way. I also have one mike, one amp, and a cheap 8-track recorder that doesn't have enough memory to record two songs, so many times, I will upload a song just to clear memory, so I can start on a new one.
I used to sit and listen to Pink Floyd for hours. They had the perfect blend of lyrical composition, and guitar arrangements. I used to go to Bluegrass concerts in the park with my Mother. I try to take everything I hear, and use it to express the way I feel. My mother listened to Country, and my Brothers and Sister listened to what is now Classic Rock. I also played in Jazz band in High School." Chris started playing music in the third grade when his mother bought a trumpet from the school music teacher for fifty dollars. "I used to go to Lythia park, and sit on a wall next to the creek. Sometimes people would gather around, and urge me on."
My other strong suit is making something out of nothing. I am a minimalist. I don't have a lot of expensive equipment, I just try to make the most of what I have.
