I love the effect on the intro. It does give the impression of chimes with the drone note.
It's a real pleasing progression.
This is an outstanding piece!
What I think would go well in it is a flute duo. That's just personal though, I just love flutes and violins. It is great standing alone. The guitar is so pure and precise. Great job!
Merry Christmas.

By the way, the ending is cool with the subduded harmonics.
Is this on the DM Christmas playlist?

Very pretty and peaceful. As fredmiller mentioned, the pedal tone (that repeated note) is a great device to give the feeling of bells chiming. I like your touch on the strings. You're getting a very delicate sound. The notes feel fragile and for me that suits the melody quite well. Clapping

Really haunting harmonic content to this. Very moving melody. Real sweet guitar playing. Made the hairs on my hand stand up. You are a great musician Chris.Clapping

Makes me wish we had a fireplace... I can picture this playing gently on Christmas Eve... just Mary and I, the warmth and the quiet before the festivities, gazing at the tree all lit up, presents underneath...
Wonderful!

Very pretty and melodic - makes me imagine falling snow with everyone at home in the warm getting ready for Christmas. This has an almost playful, innocent quality about it. Great track. :-)) (Very Happy)

Beautiful! Love the warmth it conveys, like it's snowing outside and I'm sat by an open fire drinking mulled wine watching the firelight dance in my wife's eyes.

very nice melody, and I love the flanger effect. My only complaint is that it is a bit repetative for my tastes

a bit repetitive but im being hypocritical saying that. it is a good piece overall.

It's nice but doesn't really sound like classical music at all. Some of the chord changes are very dramatic but it just enhances the mellowness of the piece. If you ever think about adding something to this piece give me a holler. I have an idea for a woodwind melody to go over the top of it.

sounds great man, so simple but it doesn't get boring at all, nice subtle changes , especially around the 2:00 mark. Good work !

This is simply beautiful, there's a little change in there that really got me in the heart, about a third in....
A song full of feeling & wistful to the last note, this would make anyone reach inside for fond memories and miss loved ones & the comfort of home, a gentle guitar masterpiece. Playlisted Heart

You were right, my song is very similar. You have great skill as a composer - I think that's your greatest plus.
