I like the heavy guitar with the driving beat. Reminds me of Doobie Brothers. The kind of music that gets the crowd moving.
Great job! Got vocals?

Amazing stuff...has a real uplifting feeling of movement to it. I'm not well acquianted with instrumental guitar work, I usually just pay attention to vocals in a song of this style, so I'm glad you chose not to make that addition; it would distract from some truly masterful playing. Nicely done. My suggestion would be to cut down on distortion, it tends to distract from the overall musicality of it, if that makes any sense to ya. Short and tall, thanks for uploading, I enjoyed that.

Great set of changes. Good rhythm. The distortion is ok but maybe a touch too much high freqs but that is a personal thing (I like my guitar tones a bit more earthy). This set of changes could work in many different settings. Keep it like this and you've got a nice, sparkly, effervescent rock song. On an acoustic it could become a heavy wood piece. Clean up the tone and you've got a high energy jazz or pop piece. Great versatility in this one.

Its kind of like a great piece of jazzy funk rythm guitar played with a distorted tone rather than clean. Kind of Nile Rodgers meets Jimmy Hendrix. Some very nice hooks in there.

I would like to hear this with a clean tone. Just a personal opinion, but I'm not the greatest fan of a distorted electric guitar as a stand-alone instrument. I liked the piece, nice and upbeat and you haven't tried to over-complicate the composition which can be very tempting cometimes. Funky indeed! Good Job

I'm into the distortion idea. I've really got to start posting some of my drum tracks up here for people. It would have made this one even more moving. Overall, a grade A composition!

I'd try passing this one around for a collab with some vocals. It has an early rock sound to it as well. I know of several vocalists here who would do a great job adding something to it. It is nice as it is but I think something like that would add a whole new dimension to the song and make it great.

Great playing but I'd rather hear it with less or maybe a different kind of distortion.
And I agree what sqrlcub was saying about a collab.

Actually, I liked the distortion. That is a nice chord sequence - from that bouncy feel back to the building minor - I really like it. Like other people have said, if you could get someone else to add vocals and drums and other such, this could easily be a great song. Good work!

Wow you've got some great comments here and I must say well deserved too, this is great riff meets zest, I hope you make the full song out of it for your band, it could rock like hell, great playing, love the sound & flow of the piece, catchy as well, which is hard to do with one instrument alone, amazing Chris, keep up the good work.

Checking this out and man its one hell of a crunchy sound that guitar is producing. Shakes the brain while listening. Yeah!! Some excellent playing here. I could certainly visulise drums on top of this to compliment the excellent rythym that your playing is producing. I found myself starting to sing something over it as well. I would love to give that a crack sometime maybe. Something really angry I would feel!! Very good.

is it related to one of my favourite comic ever? . There's a little bit of doobie brother in this great rythmic (i see some other users did notice that ). Yeah u should complete this one, it's a really strong rythmic for building a song upon.
